Farm & ranch technology consulting
Technology that works as hard as you do.
Practical help choosing, installing, and connecting the tools that save time on a working operation, planned around how your place actually runs.
What we do
From the house to the back pasture.
Every project starts on your property, not in a catalog. We recommend what fits your operation and budget, and nothing more.
Assessment & planning
A walk-through of your barns, buildings, and daily chores, then a clear plan with priorities and costs.
Smart barn & facility automation
Lights, fans, switches, and plugs that turn on and off by schedule, sensor, or condition, and that you can check from your phone.
Weather stations & sensors
On-site weather and environmental monitoring, with alerts when conditions need your attention.
Connectivity & networking
Coverage that reaches the barns, shops, and gates, so cameras, sensors, and controls stay online.
Secure & dependable setup
Protected accounts and devices, updates, and backups, set up correctly the first time.
Support & training
Documentation and walk-throughs so your family and hands can run it, plus help when something changes.
Running on our own place
We don’t recommend anything we don’t use.
At The Connected M Ranch, the smart home doesn’t stop at the back door. It reaches into the barns, where lights, fans, switches, and plugs automate based on readings from the on-site weather stations.
That setup is our test bench. Every device, platform, and automation we recommend has run through a Texas summer on our own place first.

How a project runs
- Walk the property: see the barns, the chores, and the pain points in person.
- Plan: a short, plain-English plan with options at a few price points.
- Install & integrate: get everything working together, not just plugged in.
- Hand off: written notes and a walk-through so you own it, not us.

Let’s put your land — and your data — to work.
Whether you want your barns to run themselves or you’re curious about Connected Rancher and FertigAIte, a 30-minute conversation is the best place to start.
